GoRoffle Terms & Conditions

  1. Each prize draw ("Roffle") is open to individuals who are permanent residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over at the time of entry, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Roffle.
  2. Each Roffle is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  3. Entry into each Roffle is available via paid online entry or via a free postal route.
    1. Method: To enter for free by post, entrants must create an account on www.goroffle.com, navigate to the relevant Roffle, and generate a unique 'Postal Entry Ticket' (containing a QR Code and unique Reference ID).
    2. Data Consent: By generating a Postal Entry Ticket, the entrant acknowledges that their data (Name, Email) will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy and, where applicable, shared with the Brand Partner for the purposes of prize fulfilment and the provision of Consolation Perks, on the same basis as a paid entry.
    3. Submission: This Ticket must be printed and affixed to a postcard (or printed directly onto a postcard) and mailed to Roffle, PO Box 2150, Preston, PR5 9EN.
    4. One Entry Per Postcard: Bulk entries sent in a single envelope will not be accepted. Each postal entry must be mailed on a separate postcard containing a unique QR Code.
    5. Postal entries must be received by the Promoter prior to the commencement of the Processing Gap for the relevant Roffle. Any entries received after the Processing Gap has started will not be included in the draw.
    6. Validity: The Promoter accepts no responsibility for postal entries that are illegible, damaged, fail to scan due to print quality, or are lost/delayed in the post. The opening and closing dates for entries are listed on each Roffle. Entries received after this date will not be valid.
  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
  5. Selection of Winners & Draw Schedule
    1. The Draw Process: A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process using the Drand software.
    2. Operational Window: Roffles may open at 08:00 and close at 22:00 on any calendar day. The minimum duration for any Roffle is 5 Working Days (defined as Monday to Friday, excluding UK public and bank holidays).
    3. Draw Timing: Following the Closing Date and the completion of the Processing Gap (see 5.4), the Draw will take place on the next available Working Day. Draws are scheduled on the full hour between 12:00 and 20:00. The specific time slot for each Roffle will be assigned by the Promoter to manage system capacity.
    4. Processing Gap: A period of 5 Working Days shall follow the Closing Date of each Roffle. This period is required to ensure all valid entries, including postal entries, are processed and entered into the draw system.
    5. Unadvertised Draws: The Promoter reserves the right to perform re-draws at any time (for example, in the event of a prize forfeiture under condition 7). These draws may take place outside of the scheduled windows and are not publicly advertised.
  6. Condition of Prizes
    1. Condition Tiers: Prizes are supplied in the condition stated in the specific Roffle listing. Categories include: (A) Brand New — Sourced from a Retailer/Brand Partner; (B) New with Tags (NWT) — Sourced from secondary markets, unworn; (C) Authenticated Resale — Sourced from secondary markets and described as "As New" or "Vintage."
    2. Inspection & Verification: For items under categories (B) and (C) handled directly by the Promoter, the Promoter will perform a good-faith inspection to ensure the item matches the listing description. For items under category (A) shipped directly by a third-party Retailer (e.g., Amazon), the Winner acknowledges that the Promoter relies on the Retailer's quality control and does not physically inspect the item.
    3. Sizing and Selection: Where a Prize is a wearable item (e.g., clothing or footwear), the size and colour will be clearly stated in the Roffle listing. It is the entrant's responsibility to ensure the stated size is suitable before entering. The Promoter is under no obligation to exchange a Prize for a different size or colour once the Draw has taken place.
  7. The winner of each Roffle will be notified by email and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified by the Promoter that a prize has been won, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  8. Fulfilment and Delivery: Prizes are fulfilled and shipped directly by the relevant Brand Partner, a third-party Retailer, or the Promoter (the "Supplier").
    1. Shipping Restrictions: Prizes will only be delivered to a valid postal address within the United Kingdom. Neither the Promoter nor the Supplier will ship prizes to addresses outside of the UK (including the Channel Islands or BFPO addresses). It is the winner's responsibility to provide a valid UK delivery address.
    2. Limitation of Liability: The Promoter (Roffle) acts as a facilitator. For items shipped directly by a Retailer or Brand Partner, the Promoter shall have no liability for prizes that are lost, damaged, delayed, or undelivered due to the acts or omissions of the Supplier or any third-party courier service.
    3. Promoter-Fulfilled Prizes: Where a prize is sourced via a resale platform (e.g., Vinted) or held in the Promoter's own inventory, the Promoter acts as the "Supplier" and is responsible for the final inspection and dispatch to the Winner.
    4. Third-Party Retailer Fulfilment: Where a prize is sourced via a third-party retailer (e.g., via an affiliate link to Amazon or eBay), the Promoter will purchase the prize as a "Gift." The winner acknowledges that the retailer's own terms and conditions of sale and shipping apply. If a specific item becomes unavailable at the time of the draw, the Promoter reserves the right to exercise Condition 20.4.
    5. Manufacturer's Warranty: For "Brand New" items, the standard manufacturer's warranty typically applies. For items sourced via resale markets (Categories B & C), the winner acknowledges that a manufacturer's warranty may have expired or be non-transferable. All such items are provided "as is." The Promoter provides no additional warranty. Upon request, the Promoter will provide a copy of the purchase receipt/gift receipt to assist the winner with a manufacturer claim.
  9. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. Except as set out in condition 20.4, no cash alternative is or will be offered.
  10. The prize is supplied by the relevant brand partner (the "Supplier"). The Supplier reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
  11. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Roffle is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  12. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails info@goroffle.com within one month after the closing date stated in condition 5. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at the same email address. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter. For items sourced via resale markets, the Promoter's liability is limited to a good-faith inspection of the item at the time of purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  16. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's Privacy Policy. See also condition 12 with regard to the announcement of winners.
  17. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
  18. The Promoter of each Roffle is GoRoffle.com Limited.
  19. Brand Partner Perks & Retail Incentives
    1. Eligibility for Brand Partner Perks: From time to time, entrants who purchase tickets may be eligible to receive a promotional discount code, offer, or reward ('Brand Partner Perk') from a specific Brand Partner.
    2. Purchase Volume & Intent: Brand Partner Perks are retail incentives linked directly to purchasing activity. Eligibility for a Perk is determined by specific criteria set by the Brand Partner, which may include minimum basket values or minimum ticket quantities (e.g., purchasing 2 or more tickets in a single transaction). Consequently, entrants participating via the free entry route or purchasing below the minimum threshold are not eligible for these Perks.
    3. Direct Retail Links (Non-Perk): Some Roffle listings may feature "Buy Now" or "Check Price" links to third-party retailers (e.g., Amazon or eBay). These links are provided for user convenience and price transparency. These links are not classified as "Brand Partner Perks" and do not constitute a discount or exclusive offer unless explicitly stated. As an Associate of these platforms, the Promoter may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links (see Condition 22).
    4. Data Consent: To unlock or redeem a Brand Partner Perk, the entrant may be required to actively consent to share their name and email address with the specific Brand Partner for marketing or fulfilment purposes. If an entrant declines to share this data, the Perk may not be issued.
    5. Discretion & Liability: Brand Partner Perks are issued entirely at the discretion of the Brand Partner and are separate from the main Prize Draw. The Promoter accepts no liability for the availability, validity, redemption, value, or expiration of these codes. Any disputes regarding the use of a Perk must be raised directly with the Brand Partner.
    6. Limitations: Unless otherwise stated, Brand Partner Perks will be strictly limited to one per unique natural person per allocation.
  20. Minimum Ticket Thresholds and Cancellation
    1. Cancellation Right: The Promoter and the relevant Brand Partner reserve the right, at their absolute discretion, to cancel any Roffle at any time prior to the Draw Date if the number of paid tickets sold fails to meet the minimum threshold required to make the Roffle viable.
    2. Refunds: In the event that a Roffle is cancelled pursuant to condition 20.1, the Promoter shall notify all entrants via the email address associated with their account. The Promoter will issue a full refund to all paid entrants for the total cost of the tickets purchased for that specific Roffle. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of entry.
    3. Limitation of Liability and Perks: Where a Roffle is cancelled under this condition 20, the Promoter's liability shall be limited to the refund of the ticket entry fee. Any Brand Partner Perks or retail incentives already issued to, or redeemed by, the entrant prior to the time of cancellation shall remain valid (subject to the Supplier's own terms), but no further Perks will be issued or generated following the formal notice of cancellation. The Promoter shall not be liable for any other costs, losses, or disappointments resulting from such cancellation.
    4. Alternative Prize (Pro-Rata Cash Draw): As an alternative to cancellation under condition 20.1, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, elect to proceed with the Draw even if the minimum ticket threshold has not been met. In such cases, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the advertised Prize with a cash prize. The value of this cash prize will be 70% of the total ticket revenue received for that specific Roffle. If the Promoter elects this route, a valid Draw for a prize will still take place and entrants will not be entitled to a refund.
  21. Roffle-Sourced Prizes
    1. Prize Source: While the majority of prizes are supplied by Brand Partners (as set out in condition 10), the Promoter (GoRoffle.com Limited) reserves the right to source and list prizes directly on the platform at its sole discretion.
    2. Fulfilment of Roffle-Sourced Prizes: Where the Promoter is the direct supplier of the prize, all references to "Supplier" or "Brand Partner" regarding delivery (condition 8) and prize replacement (condition 10) shall apply to the Promoter. In these instances, the Promoter shall be responsible for the dispatch and fulfilment of the prize to the winner.
    3. Availability of Perks: For prizes listed directly by the Promoter, Brand Partner Perks (condition 19) may not be available unless specifically stated on the Roffle listing.
  22. Affiliate Disclosure
    1. Associate Statement: GoRoffle.com Limited is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the eBay Partner Network. These are affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk and eBay.co.uk.
    2. External Retailer Links: This website features Direct Retailer Links that allow users to view or purchase featured items directly from third-party retailers. If you click one of these external links and choose to make a purchase on the retailer's own website, we may receive a commission from that retailer. This applies solely to independent purchases made on third-party websites. It does not impact the price you pay to the retailer, nor does it apply to ticket entries or any transactions conducted directly on GoRoffle.com.
  23. Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes
    1. Final Sales: In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day "cooling-off period" for distance selling does not apply to services related to leisure activities which are provided on a specific date or period. As each Roffle is a time-limited event, all ticket purchases are final and non-refundable once the transaction is complete.
    2. Discretionary Refunds: The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, issue a refund if a written request is received more than one (1) hour prior to the scheduled Closing Date of a Roffle. Once a refund is processed, the associated tickets are voided and will not be entered into the Draw.
    3. Post-Draw Voids and Redraws: No refunds will be issued after a Draw has taken place. If a winning transaction is reversed or voided (for example, due to a payment dispute) after a Draw but before the prize is dispatched, the Promoter reserves the right to perform a Redraw to select a new winner from the original pool of valid entries.
    4. Chargebacks and Account Suspension: If a participant initiates a fraudulent or unfounded chargeback (dispute) through their bank for a valid transaction, the Promoter reserves the right to permanently ban the associated user account and IP address from the platform.
    5. Fraud Prevention: To protect the integrity of the platform and minimise administrative fees, the Promoter may proactively refund any transaction flagged as "High Risk" or "Potential Fraud" by its payment processor. In such cases, any associated tickets will be voided.
